Job Description:
Senior Citrix/Windows Engineer We are seeking a skilled Senior Citrix/Windows Engineer to design, operate, and maintain a mission-critical Windows infrastructure supporting analysts and scientists. This role offers the opportunity to work across virtual desktops, servers, and enterprise applications while driving automation, ensuring security compliance, and resolving complex issues in a dynamic environment. If you are an experienced Windows professional with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for stable, secure systems, we want to hear from you. What you will be doing: Designing, maintaining, and supporting Windows infrastructure for desktops, servers, and enterprise workloads. Configuring and managing domains, Active Directory, Group Policies, and access controls. Scripting and automating policies and configurations to ensure consistent provisioning, system stability, and security. Capturing, reviewing, testing, and deploying vendor patches and upgrades to minimize risks and ensure compliance. Troubleshooting and resolving incidents by analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and implementing fixes. Supporting and integrating COTS and GOTS applications into the Windows environment based on user requirements. Collaborating with security teams to ensure accreditation of environments and adherence to security posture. What you need: Experience: 8-10 years of hands-on experience as a Windows Systems Administrator/Engineer. Proven expertise managing Windows Workstations and Servers in a tiered support environment. Strong background with Active Directory and Group Policy management. Experience with server roles such as file servers, web servers, application servers, and domain controllers. Skilled in deploying, patching, monitoring, and supporting enterprise applications. Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMWare, Nutanix, etc.). Citrix StoreFront deployment and management experience. Additional Skills (Preferred): Linux OS knowledge. Experience with Tanium (strongly desired). Security & Compliance: Direct experience working with security teams to accredit operational environments. Mindset: Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Education & Professional Experience: M.S. degree with 6+ years of professional experience, OR B.S. degree with 9+ years of professional experience, OR Relevant certification with 6+ years of professional experience, OR No degree with 12+ years of professional experience.

The likely salary range for this position is $180,336 - $243,984. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
