Job Details
Position- Lead SRE
Location: 100% Remote
Position Type: Long-term Contract
- Over a decade of experience in either eCommerce business systems or Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, and Transportation.
- At least 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps roles.
- Minimum of 5 years working with Scrum Agile methodology.
- Proven track record of delivering solutions that are easily maintainable, understandable, and diagnosable.
- Proficiency in writing clear and accessible documentation.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performance teams.
- Extensive experience managing customer-facing systems in a high uptime 24/7 environment.
- Expertise in analyzing complex issues across distributed large-scale customer-facing systems, including applications, databases, networks, and operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with system configuration management using automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Salt.
- Advanced proficiency in programming and/or scripting languages such as Python, Java, and bash.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, processes, and culture.
- High-level technical understanding including development methodologies and phases.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functional areas to achieve results.
- Strong communication skills to interact with representatives from Technology and Business Partners.
