Entry - Level Engineer - Electrical

Job Summary:

The Entry - Level Electrical Engineer will use Revit to design electrical systems, lighting layouts, and power systems for commercial spaces. The candidate will have opportunity work on School, University, Healthcare and Office projects as well as visiting jobsite and learn about the construction.

In this role, you will:
  • Use REVIT for system design
  • Be involved in electrical system design, lighting layouts and power system design for commercial spaces
  • Work on projects in medical office buildings and hospital projects
  • Visit construction jobsites

You will be a great fit if:
  • You have 0-3 years of experience in the design of electrical systems for various types of facilities
  • You have knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT
  • You have knowledge of layout and design of electrical distribution
  • You have knowledge of Lighting design and lighting controls
  • You have knowledge of designing systems in accordance with the NEC and IECC
  • You have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

Skills/abilities:
  • Ability to perform basic electrical engineering calculations
  • Excellent organizational skills and extremely high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership ability and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Self-starter that requires little direction to get moving on a project
  • Desire to grow an office and company

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Travel: Very Limited
