RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a Networking Loadbalance Architect.
Summary:
We're looking for a seasoned Network Architect with deep, hands-on expertise in F5 load balancing. This role serves as the SME for all load balancing design, engineering, and optimization efforts. The Architect will work across complex network environments, guide engineers, and shape best practices-while still rolling up your sleeves and executing the work directly.
Responsibilities:
* Architect, implement, and optimize F5 load balancing solutions across enterprise environments
* Serve as the primary SME for F5 technologies, advising on design standards, policies, and network architecture decisions
* Lead troubleshooting and performance tuning for traffic flows, application delivery, and system stability
* Work with routing technologies including BGP to ensure resilient, high-availability network designs
* Support and enhance networking solutions aligned with 3GPP standards and telecom-grade environments
* Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams
* Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure architecture aligns with operational and security requirements
* Produce documentation for designs, standards, and operational procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
* Extensive hands-on experience with F5 load balancing (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM, APM preferred)
* Strong background in network routing and switching, with deep knowledge of BGP
* Experience working with 3GPP standards, telecom architectures, and mobile networking environments
* Proficiency in core networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VLANs, routing protocols, SSL, etc.)
* Proven ability to design, implement, and support large-scale enterprise or carrier-grade network systems
* Ability to lead, mentor, and guide technical teams while remaining fully hands-on
* Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem resolution
Preferred Skills:
* Certifications such as F5-CTS/CFP, CCNP/CCIE, or equivalent
* Experience in automation or scripting for network tasks (Python, Ansible, etc.)
