Job Details

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with 4+ years of CAD engineering experience.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python (SKILL and Perl preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of industry-standard EDA tools including Cadence Virtuoso, Calibre DRC, and LVS.

  • Hands-on experience supporting both analog and digital design flows.

  • Solid background in software development fundamentals.

  • Proven expertise in physical verification (DRC, LVS, PEX, ERC), EM/IR analysis, and waiver processes.

  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with distributed/global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support IC design teams with PDK administration, layout and verification flow support, and automation scripting.

  • Manage and maintain CAD/EDA environments for analog and digital design teams.

  • Develop and optimize scripts to enhance design workflows.

  • Oversee and customize physical verification decks (DRC, LVS, Extraction, EM/IR, ESD).

  • Build and maintain infrastructure for custom PDK development, including pcells, models, and rule decks.

  • Install, validate, and track foundry PDKs, incorporating automated regression testing.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and high-performance computing resources.
