AI Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AI Architect in Redmond, WA. Their best-in-class advancements in cloud, mobile, machine learning, and AI are changing the way people go about their lives.

Summary:
We are seeking an AI Evangelist/Technologist to lead the organization's AI initiatives. This role involves promoting AI literacy, guiding the development of AI solutions, and ensuring their alignment with our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in AI, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prepare requirements for AI solutions
* Create process flows and other documentation to create AI development roadmaps that maximize RoI for AI products and minimize redundant efforts
* Provide technical, architectural, and organizational guidance for creating agentic AI use cases, templates, and accelerators
* Create supporting data architecture plans to support AI frameworks
* Communicate business requests to data science and engineering teams
* Create data mapping and data translation rules for AI development
* Recommend how to best leverage available data to construct useful inferences or assistants with AI and other processes
* Determine current and future AI needs alongside business leadership
* Create data and use case prioritization schemas for phased data organization and architecture implementation(s)
* Recommend phased approach(es) for implementing data rules and metadata schema improvements for AI development
* Implement data organization and tagging logic for searching, creation of knowledge graphs, or other future analytic/AI needs
* Create and maintain documentation, release notes, and training collateral
* Create diagrams and other documentation to communicate approach
* Ensure solutions adhere to established best patterns and architectural target state

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
* Proven experience in developing and implementing AI solutions
* Experience writing requirements/requirements gathering
* Process flow writing experience
* Experience designing and building agentic AI workflows and applications, including RAG and other data organization for AI use
* Experience developing and imposing AI governance and development standards
* Experience developing and implementing training and/or change management for AI tool use for non-technical teams
* Experience building service-oriented architectures and proficiency with AI tools (CoPilot Studio, Fabric)
* Experience with data organization and processing in Azure environments
* Experience working on and providing architecture consultation for a wide variety of AI and agentic AI use cases
* Knowledge of AI ethics and governance frameworks
* Strong understanding of architecture patterns and operational characteristics of highly available and scalable applications
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
* Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional team environments
* Acted as a liaison between technical team and business
* The ability to write requirements that are clear, concise, testable and can be interpreted by development teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
