Position: ServiceNow Architect Cybersecurity Modules (SecOps, VR, GRC)

Location: Plano TX ( Day 1 Onsite )

Duration: 3 months contract to hire

Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient ServiceNow Architect with deep expertise in cybersecurity domains, particularly within ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps), Vulnerability Response (VR), and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). This role demands a forward-thinking leader capable of designing scalable, automated, and integrated security solutions using modern tools, cloud-native platforms, and DevSecOps principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design and strategic implementation of cybersecurity solutions across ServiceNow SecOps, VR, and GRC modules.
• Architect and implement automated security workflows and orchestration playbooks using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and third-party integrations.
• Integrate ServiceNow with modern security and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure Security Services, CrowdStrike, Splunk, Tenable, Qualys, Microsoft Defender, Prisma Cloud).
• Embed ServiceNow security capabilities into CI/CD pipelines, promoting a DevSecOps culture and real-time risk visibility.
• Utilize AI/ML capabilities within ServiceNow or external platforms to drive intelligent automation, such as automated incident triage, threat enrichment, and risk scoring.
• Provide governance, technical leadership, and mentorship across multi-disciplinary teams including cybersecurity, compliance, infrastructure, and development.
• Lead workshops, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions with stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business and security goals.
• Evaluate new ServiceNow features, emerging security technologies, and contribute to platform innovation and roadmap planning.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience working with ServiceNow, with at least 3 years in an architect role focused on SecOps, VR, and GRC.
• Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and platform architecture.
• Demonstrated experience integrating with cloud-native security tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel, Google Chronicle).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001) and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Experience with DevSecOps tools and practices, including code scanning, IaC security (e.g., Terraform, Checkov, Bridgecrew), and security within CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist SecOps, VR, or GRC.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools for security analytics and automation (e.g., Darktrace, Exabeam, ServiceNow Predictive Intelligence).
• Hands-on experience with SOAR, SIEM, and threat intelligence integrations.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
