Job Description:

  • This position will support the organization s modernization efforts by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of geospatial data, specifically focusing on improving the quality of geocoded address points and resolving topology conflicts and overlaps on statewide GIS layers. The ideal candidate will use ESRI GIS tools to perform data quality assessments, identify errors, and implement corrective measures. The candidate will also collaborate with senior GIS analysts to review the quality of geocoding sources and methodologies to enhance an existing model used for voter placement. Lastly, the candidate will produce professional and clear geographic outputs such as maps, shapefiles, and written recommendations for geographic requests and inquiries from internal stakeholders.
