Description
The Department of Finance and Risk Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering i nvites applications for a one year Faculty Fellow position to start on September 1, 2025.
We are seeking candidates in all areas of mathematics applied to financial engineering and decision modeling within the context of economics and finance. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, stochastic analysis, optimization, control and game theory, statistics, and data science.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in applied mathematics or a closely related field, with demonstrated knowledge of contemporary challenges in financial engineering and decision modeling. The position includes a light teaching load, offering valuable teaching experience within the department. Applicants are expected to show strong potential for excellence in both research and teaching.
