Reports to: Director, Integrated Marketing Communications

Mattel s Integrated Marketing Communications Team is responsible for driving best-in-class strategic and creative thought leadership in the development and execution of best-in-class global marketing campaigns, activations and assets that consistently communicate the distinct and powerful identity of the Mattel IP across all internal and external touchpoints.

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our multi-disciplined account team leading integrated marketing communications for Mattel Creations and Mattel Brand.
Job Description
Supports IMC Account lead in driving the development of integrated marketing programs, from conception to execution
Drive strategic thought leadership, creative and project leadership in collaboration with the IMC Account Director, Creative leads and Project Management teams.
Provide strategic and creative direction to external agency partners and vendors, ensuring clarity, consistency and alignment of resources to meet business objectives efficiently and effectively
Drive Marketing Brief intake process to ensure communication between IMC and Marketing is clear and all required inputs are provided and approved
Includes working and driving projects with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Corporate Communications, Creative, Project Management, Production, and Finance and more).
Drive the creation, implementation and global adherence to corporate foundation and identities, ensuring portfolio differentiation with consistent global application
Lead the development of marketing tentpoles, including cross-category promotions, collaborations, and activations that align with brand objectives.
Support the development, implementation and global adherence to the new Mattel Brand campaign, ensuring consistency and alignment across all markets.
Ensure alignment at key milestones for the development and presentation of creative strategies and organizing ideas to global markets and commercial teams, ensuring alignment at key milestones, including pan-brand campaigns.
Partner with the Account Director in developing comprehensive communications plans and workflows, collaborating with Project Management to align resource planning, ensuring on-time delivery and maintaining budget adherence.
Provide oversight for agency and production budgets, working with partners to ensure accurate tracking and alignment with planned scope.
Build and maintain strong collaboration with brand and product marketing teams, cross- functional partners and IMC stakeholders to proactively monitor, manage and resolve project challenges in real time.
Leads IMC status meetings to track project progress in collaboration with Project Management to ensure clear communication on all projects.
Participates in Brand 360 meetings to represent IMC Pod, sharing brand and project updates, collaborating and contributing to cross-functional projects and bringing back relevant information to rest of IMC team.
Proactively monitors and analyzes competitive marketing communications, sharing with cross-functional team through real-time hot takes and bi-annual presentations with actionable takeaways.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
7+ years in marketing, advertising, operations, or program management leading cross-functional teams
Has worked for or with Advertising Agencies and understands their processes
Highly organized, detail oriented and ability to drive projects forward.
Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and teams efficiently.
Keep track of budgets, schedules, deliverables, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Experience in digital, social, and DTC marketing for Ecomm
Highly analytical and strategic mind with ability to distill complex concepts and ideas into succinct solutions
Strong understanding of industry, category, and media landscape
Strong interpersonal skills that encourage cooperation and problem solving
Possess a growth mindset, positive attitude and a passion to succeed in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
