Description:
Cyber Systems Engineer needed to support Security System Enhancements.
Experience Needed:
- Apply security measures and hardening to computing systems.
- Installing, hardening, and patching Linux/Windows operating systems.
- Implement recovery procedures to include backup and potential restoration.
- Maintain the plan of action and milestones (POA&M) for cybersecurity vulnerabilities; create and maintain installation, maintenance, and upgrade procedures.
- Perform manual checks to verify compliance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide.
- Conduct systems security audits
- Coordinate installation and provide backup recovery procedures.
- Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.
- Set up administrator and service accounts, maintain system documentation, tune system performance, and install system wide software.
- Linux/Unix administration and Windows Administration.
- Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications :
- Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree
- 1-5+ Years of Experience
- Experience with Red Hat Linux Operating Systems
- Experience generating software releases
- Git/GitHub
- JIRA
- Jenkins
- Confluence
- Agile Development Methodologies
- Department of Defense DOD security protocols
Experience Level:
Intermediate Level
