Job Details

The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities-
  • Build components of software platforms and collaborate with Application Development teams regarding design patterns, best practices, approved technologies, tools, and solutions.
  • Build technology platforms that are modern, scalable, and highly available.
  • Design application components to fit within the solution architecture.
  • Plan, drive, and deliver innovative reusable software solutions.
  • The role requires extensive hands-on development in Claims application and have business knowledge with end to end claim processing including adjudication and pricing.
  • The role also requires to build re-usable work flows using PEGA that can be leverage for multiple areas.
  • Should have the knowledge on implementing PEGA apps into cloud infrastructure. Work with vendor products and build integration design with claim application. Hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications-

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in information technology, computers, or engineering plus five years of experience in software development/engineering or a master's or foreign equivalent degree in information technology, computers, or engineering plus three years of experience in software development/engineering. Must have experience with: Pega PRPC; Java, COBOL; AWS, HTML, XML, CSS, EDI, JSON; MySQL, AWS Aurora, Postgres, Oracle, DB2, IMS; Apache TOMCAT, AWS Server and Serverless; Windows, Linux, and Mainframe Z/OS; Splunk, Dynatrace, Eclipse, Jira, Rally, CA Agile Central, and Service NOW; IBM Mainframes; JCL, CICS, SQL, MS SQL Server; Agile and Waterfall; Use Cases and Data Flow Diagrams; Crystal Reports; MS Excel, Visio, Endevor, Trizetto Facets, Sybase, ClaimCheck, and ClaimsXten.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
