Overview
DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Cloud and Cybersecurity Architect Lead for Infrastructure Support (CCALIS) to support the MODES III program for the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Military Community & Family Policy (MC&FP). The CCALIS will serve as the enterprise lead for AWS GovCloud architecture and infrastructure, delivering secure, scalable, and compliant solutions across MC&FP's digital platforms.
This is a remote position with periodic on-site support required in Alexandria, VA. A favorably adjudicated Tier 5 background investigation (Top Secret clearance) is required.
Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as the designated CCALIS, providing enterprise architecture and infrastructure leadership across MODES III's AWS GovCloud-based environments.
Architect and optimize highly available, secure systems supporting MODES III's user-centered applications, content platforms, and IT services.
Lead the design and implementation of ZTA-compliant, resilient, and scalable cloud infrastructure aligned with DoD mission requirements.
Oversee the integration of DevSecOps pipelines, mobile platforms, CMS, APIs, and database services, with a focus on continuous delivery and modernization.
Ensure architectural compliance with DoDAF, RMF, DISA SRG/STIG, and applicable DoD and NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
Lead documentation of system architectures, cloud migration strategies, and modernization roadmaps for legacy systems.
Collaborate with system engineers and cybersecurity analysts to maintain FedRAMP, DoD IL5, and DISA accreditation standards across infrastructure layers.
Provide expertise in container orchestration, network segmentation, identity and access management (IAM), and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices to enable secure operations.
Qualifications
Required:
Active Top Secret clearance required.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, information systems, or a related field.
A minimum of six years of DoD or Federal IT Architecture and/or Infrastructure experience.
A minimum of five years of experience in AWS GovCloud architecture and infrastructure support.
Possess one of the following certifications: CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSO, GCIA, GCSA, GCLD, GICSP, GSLC, CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEPDesired:
A minimum of five years of experience supporting cloud architecture and infrastructure in DevSecOps and Agile development environments.
