Workday Core FMX & FDM Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workday FMX & FDM Consultant to join our dynamic consulting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workday Financials, with hands-on experience in Financial Management Extensions (FMX) and Financial Data Model (FDM). Preference will be given to candidates with Workday Partner-side implementation experience who are adept at managing multiple clients, delivering high-quality solutions, and navigating complex financial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Workday FMX and FDM implementations across various industries and clients.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Workday Financials, particularly in FDM structure design, FMX configuration, and integration best practices.
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions, design workshops, and client presentations.
• Translate business needs into functional Workday configurations and provide expert-level guidance on best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, IT) to ensure seamless integration and data integrity.
• Create, review, and validate solution documentation, including configuration workbooks, test scripts, and training materials.
• Participate in end-to-end testing cycles and support data conversion, UAT, and deployment activities.
• Mentor junior consultants and support internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Workday features, releases, and roadmap enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Workday Financials implementations, with a focus on FMX and FDM.
• Experience working on the partner side (consulting/implementation firm) with multiple Workday deployments.
• Proven ability to lead functional workstreams in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of FDM design principles, dimensionality, hierarchies, and security models.
• Proficiency in FMX use cases such as financial allocations, advanced reporting, validations, and calculations.
• Workday Certifications in FMX and/or Financials (preferred but not mandatory).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, client-facing environments with tight deadlines.
