Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills

  • Candidates must be certified in GKE and/or AKS.
  • Strong written and communication skills are a must.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • The Google Cloud Platform/GKE Engineer enables cloud resources to provide optimal performance, continuity, and efficiency in virtualized, on-demand environments.
  • The Google Cloud Platform/GKE Engineer work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
  • The Google Cloud Platform/GKE Engineer utilizes software that manages and monitors networks, systems, and applications not only to guarantee performance to cloud software environments but also to better orchestrate and automate provisioning of resources.
  • Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
  • Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, requires minimal direction, and receives guidance where needed.
  • Follows established guidelines/procedures.
