Citrix Engineer
Max pay rate: $36.06/hr w2 + benefits
Long term contract-to-hire position
Onsite Hybrid 3 days per week-
All candidates need to be able to work onsite at least 3 days a week in one of the following locations - Woodlands TX, New Orleans LA, Jackson MS, or Little Rock AR.

Job Purpose:
  • The Citrix Engineer will support the Citrix Administrator in providing management, oversight and maintenance over the Citrix environment supporting a robust cross-functional user base of 15K+ users.
  • The Citrix environment is critical to the successful operations and this support role is critical to the success of client employees and contract partners who rely on the environment to perform their work.
Education, Experience and/or Certification:
  • Minimum education required of the position
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or other technical area of study preferred
  • CCA, CCP, CCE or strongly preferred
  • 2 plus years of experience managing a Citrix environment
Minimum experience required of the position:
  • In-depth experience in the installation, configuration and maintenance of the Citrix Infrastructure
  • Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Storefront Server, Citrix User Profile Manager, Citrix Director, Citrix Studio, Citrix Machine Creation Services
  • Specific and direct experience with at least one ticketing system (Service Now, Remedy, HEAT, etc.)
  • Familiarity with business operations and best in class technology landscape

  • Ability to perform daily responsibilities to manage and administer the Citrix environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot, with cross-functional teams, issues impacting Citrix users
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to create and articulate technical concepts to non-technical users

Core Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily responsibilities to support the Citrix environment
  • Responsible for routine patch management and system maintenance
  • Assist in the design and implementation of future-state virtual end user computing environments
  • Responsible to maintain critical business operations of Citrix 24/7/365 which may require after-hours, additional hours, etc to support this critical environment
  • Responsible for Citirx policies and procedures, best practices, and correlated documentation
  • Responsible to support required system reporting (audit, performance, etc)
Note:
  • These positions may be filled in The Woodlands TX, New Orleans LA, Jackson MS, or Little Rock AR. Hybrid Position - 3 days per week onsite one week, then 2 days per week onsite the next week alternating.

Pay Range: $30- $36.06

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
