Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Mainframe Developer with strong proficiency in TSO and z/OS environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with STAR and SYS2 LPARs, as well as deep knowledge of mainframe development and system operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications in a TSO and z/OS environment.

  • Work with LPARs, particularly STAR and SYS2, to manage logical partitions and support system operations.

  • Analyze existing systems and applications to identify areas of improvement and performance optimization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system architects, testers, and support teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and system design discussions.

  • Provide production support and troubleshooting for mainframe applications and infrastructure.

  • Follow change management and SDLC processes within a mainframe ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in mainframe development.

  • Proficient in TSO/ISPF, z/OS, JCL, REXX, and related tools/utilities.

  • Strong hands-on experience with STAR and SYS2 LPARs.

  • Knowledge of mainframe performance tuning and system management.

  • Experience with DB2, VSAM, and batch/online processing is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
