Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a Systems Engineer at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the Fleet Balistic Missile Program supporting Guidance System Testing and Enhanced Ground Testing.

- Ability to provide system accreditation/certification evaluation and test support to ensure all technical security features (e.g., identification, authentication, access control, labeling, and auditing) of the system are considered and function properly
- Ability to provide resolution to a diverse range of complex problems through adept troubleshooting
- Independently determine approach to solutions
- Ability to provide leadership to lower level employees
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and interfaces
- Understanding of Configuration Management
- Strong database development and/or understanding
- Considerable knowledge in use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Ability to communicate issues and alternatives clearly
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success, meeting and exceeding personal and team commitments
- Ability to multi-task
- Independently determines approach to solutions
