Business Systems Analyst II | Onsite | Irving, TX | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to support a healthcare client based out of Irving, TX. This is a 12-week contract opportunity.

START DATE: August 18, 2025
HOURS/SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, 8a- 5p M-F
WORKER TYPE: Full-Time

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leading/guiding project meetings with the core leadership team to gather comprehensive business requirements and translate them into automated solutions
  • Designing and implementing workflow technical solutions
  • Advising and assisting customers in the operation and administration of collection system applications
  • Working with the facility host support team
  • Collaborating with customers to enhance work methodologies and tools
  • Maintaining a customer-centric technical knowledge and focus while contributing to analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation activities
  • Delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions to users at all levels
  • Serving as the technical liaison for workflow solution implementation and project monitoring, including ongoing workflow maintenance
  • Supporting business goals and objectives as they relate to the team
  • Clarify system, workflow, and process needs with operations to understand the purpose and content of requested enhancements
  • Assist customers with understanding of system functionality and process flows and optimizing their use of assigned applications and specific project-driven tasks
  • Analyze customer workflow and/or process flows and assist customers with reengineering their department work
  • Update customer strategies and improve processes related to account flow and reconciling accounts
  • Translate customer requests into program specifications appropriate to assigned tasks
  • Understand and appreciate customers’ clinical and business functions, including but not limited to new customer file testing and implementation within given timeframes
  • Document business requirements and technical details using tools such as Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and others as applicable
  • Consult with management or senior team members as needed to gain knowledge needed for ownership of assigned process area
  • Support day-to-day operations in assigned process area by responding to requests for research or minor workflow changes
  • Identify system enhancements that will improve business processes and support future business needs
  • Identify issues and concerns and communicate them to management or senior team; develop options and recommendations
  • Author or review system requests on behalf of business units and process managers, serving as functional and technical liaison between business units and IS organization
  • Learn new technologies and systems to advance operational knowledge and process improvements; consult SMEs or leadership as needed
  • Develop detailed technical designs for workflow automation and implement system changes, including monitoring for successful and intended outcomes
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with project teams, including end users, management, and IS team members
  • Use operational and system knowledge to recommend increased efficiencies and automation through proprietary workflow system
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Six Sigma, TQM, or other project and process management systems
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Produce written material to communicate sufficiently at all organizational levels
  • Analyze complex business issues and identify, design, and implement effective, practical recommendations
  • Exhibit superior diagnostic skills spanning organizational, group, and individual needs
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Organize and manage multiple competing projects and deadlines
  • With minimal guidance, define boundaries, set priorities, plan, and manage multiple projects
  • With guidance, develop detailed project schedules, mapping dates and resources to tasks; monitor progress and resolve approved deviations
  • Demonstrate independent, logical thinking and perform detailed data analysis to make sound decisions
  • Possess intermediary troubleshooting skills and solve complex technical issues independently in a timely fashion
  • Understand operational business processes and apply technical/system knowledge
  • Develop and/or present training to operational business users
  • Work independently or as part of a team, respectfully engaging with colleagues at all levels
  • Provide courteous, polite, and friendly customer service at all times
  • Acknowledge and respond to customer needs in a timely manner to resolve issues or fulfill requests
  • Participate in departmental programs promoting and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of database query tools such as MS Access or SQL
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Apply knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management
