JOB TITLE: Project Manager (IBM Maximo/Asset Management Solutions)
JOB LOCATION: Waltham, MA (Hybrid come to the office once a week initially (Wednesday)
WAGE RANGE*: $75-86/hr.

Required Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data management and system migrations, preferably in the utility industry.
Proven experience with IBM Maximo or similar asset management solutions.
Strong understanding of data archiving strategies, legal retention policies and cloud hosting environments (experience with IBM SAAS flex and/or MS Azure cloud a plus).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with agile delivery
Experience working with outsource technical support providers
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of projects related to data archiving and migration of the IBM Maximo platform to a new hosting environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business needs and compliance requirements.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget oversight.
Coordinate with IT,data management teams and other relative stakeholders to define retention rules and effective data archiving strategies for data that needs to be retained and for data that is no longer relevant.
Oversee the migration process, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations and maintaining data integrity throughout the transition.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies, as necessary.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and external vendors involved in the projects assigned.
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders on project milestones and outcomes.
Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches.
Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on new processes and systems post-migration.
Effectively manage scope of the project.
Monitor cost and effectively manage budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Experience with data governance and compliance regulations in the utility sector.
Familiarity with Maximo application suite and architecture , SAAS infrastructure support and migrations
Experience leading Maximo Software upgrade to MAS 8
