Job Description
As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuous production is uninterrupted by equipment failures while reducing production costs through the development of maintenance methods that improve process efficiency and reliability. You will identify system constraints and proactively pursue their elimination through continuous improvement cycles.
Your responsibilities will include leading root cause analysis of equipment failures, acting as a subject matter expert, and assisting in the identification and implementation of corrective actions or technologies. You will research new reliability processes and identify methods to predict and improve reliability across operations, while performing onsite evaluations of existing processes and equipment.
The ideal candidate brings solid engineering experience, expertise in reliability-centered maintenance practices, and a proactive approach to safety and equipment reliability in an industrial mining environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify system constraints and proactively pursue their elimination through continuous improvement cycles.
- Ensure continuous production is uninterrupted by equipment failures and reduce production costs.
- Develop maintenance methods to improve process efficiency and reliability.
- Lead root cause analysis of equipment failures and act as a subject matter expert.
- Assist in the identification and implementation of corrective actions or technologies.
- Research new reliability processes and identify methods to predict and improve reliability.
- Perform onsite evaluation of existing processes and equipment.
- Set expectations within the department for precision maintenance.
- Review and establish Key Performance Indices for equipment.
- Identify PM opportunities and maintenance plans by leading failure mode and effect analysis.
- Analyze current CMMS data for equipment health indicators.
- Identify reports to measure health indicators.
- Proactively develop and provide safety perspective for equipment and processes.
- Make recommendations for engineering solutions or methods to eliminate hazards.
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline and five (5) years related experience in Engineering, OR Master's degree in appropriate Engineering discipline and three (3) years related experience in Engineering.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Ability to listen and understand information and ideas and express thoughts and ideas clearly through oral and written communication.
- Customer-focused approach to provide quality service to improve equipment and process reliability.
- Knowledge and understanding of reliability-centered maintenance practices.
- Experience with engineering design drawings and schematics.
- Self-starter with solid integrity.
- Understanding of the importance of safety, legality, and quality.

- Experience in mining or mineral processing operations.
- Certification in reliability engineering or related field.
- Experience with reliability software and predictive maintenance technologies.
- Background in implementing continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for equipment reliability.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline required.
Pay & Benefits Summary
- Salary range: $98,000 - $137,000 per year
