Job Title: Project Coordinator Infrastructure & Migration Projects (Remote)
Location: Remote (US Based - EST)
Duration: 8-10 Weeks
Exp. Level: 14-16 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to lead infrastructure migration initiatives, including email and stack migrations. This remote role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage distributed Agile teams, coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, resolve migration-related issues, and provide timely status updates. Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, and Confluence is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

<> Project Coordination:</>
  • Plan, schedule, and manage infrastructure migration projects ( email, stack, etc.) from initiation to completion.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely and successful execution.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to plan and execute sprints, manage backlogs, and facilitate daily stand-ups.
  • Work closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Adapt project plans based on iterative feedback and evolving requirements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external vendors.
  • Facilitate virtual meetings, status calls, and collaborative planning sessions.
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment across all parties.
  • Identify, track, and resolve migration-related issues in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
  • Escalate critical issues and follow through to resolution.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Document project progress, risks, decisions, and mitigation strategies using collaborative platforms.
<> Remote Work Responsibilities:</>
  • Maintain consistent and professional communication across remote channels (email, chat, video conferencing).
  • Utilize project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, Asana, and SharePoint to manage tasks, documentation, and updates.
  • Ensure availability during core business hours and participate in virtual meetings across time zones.
  • Uphold data security and confidentiality standards while working remotely.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional remote teams across multiple time zones.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations for remote team members.
  • Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and ensure accountability.
  • Foster collaboration and engagement through virtual tools and regular check-ins.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT project coordination or infrastructure migration.
  • Proven experience managing remote teams and virtual projects.
  • Hands-on experience working with Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Trello, Confluence, and other project management platforms.
  • Familiarity with email systems (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Office 365) and technology stacks.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster).
  • Experience with cloud migration (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
