Job Details
Requirements:
- 3 or more years of experience in production operations within a 24x7 environment.
- Proficiency in Unix and Linux operating systems and server administration.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and configuration for Juniper, Arista, or Cisco devices.
- Experience in scripting and automation using Python and Bash for platform tasks.
- Experience with server hardware maintenance, software troubleshooting, and RMA processes.
- Experience in Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, and Git for operational scaling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Execute vCMTS and RPHY platform stand-ups and software installations across the country.
- Implement system upgrades, hardware replacements, and risk management changes.
- Perform incident mitigation and service restoration for virtual cable modem termination systems.
- Identify service-impacting trends and collaborate with developers on long-term problem management.
- Partner with regional engineering teams to build automation tools and improve reliability.
- Integrate and operationalize new products through cross-functional project management collaboration.
- Maintain system health and network availability through 24/7 on-call rotation cycles.
