Job Description:
The position is a technical project management role for the client's Infrastructure Engineering & Support (VIES) organization. The VIES organization is responsible for client's internal operations, operating systems, tools, compute & storage infrastructure along with disaster recovery, backup and recovery. Specifically, this project manager will work with the Enterprise Storage and Backup teams to deliver multiple complex projects with executive visibility and extremely short timeframes. This role will ensure that the team delivers the best technical solution to meet client's infrastructure goals and exceed executive expectations. This role is critical to ensuring the successful implementation of strategic infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Project manage large-scale projects and provide guidance and support to staff members, peers and client Leaders.
- Work across the IT technical team to frame requirements, understand potential risks/opportunities, and evaluate competing alternatives.
- Assist the team in meeting technical requirements, as well as, financial targets with a solid understanding of the composition of client cost elements while balancing infrastructure requirements.
- Develop concise detailed project plans that tie back to key deliverables and milestones, while keeping track of project timelines. - Partner with Infrastructure leaders and teams to ensure accurate tracking/reporting of key initiatives.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Exercise considerable judgment in developing methods, techniques & evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Coordinate multi-tiered, cross-functional-departmental staff to keep work streams flowing toward the common goal of the initiative.
- Utilization of standardized tools to keep all teams in sync and on target.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
- Prepare reports for senior leaders on project status
- Ensure work is accomplished independently and with minimal direction.

Must Have Skills (Most Important):
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of relevant work experience especially with larger IT infrastructure projects
- Proven experience in data center environments
- Proven ability to work with IT engineers
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work and interact with multiple levels of management
- Results-oriented Agile mindset with a strong sense of urgency
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills
- Proven leadership skills and expertise in conflict resolution
- Ability to foster relationships and present to management levels within the Client Organization
- Ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects.
- Knowledge and experience with Confluence, Smart Sheets
- Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Desired Skills:
- Agile Scrum Master and/or Project Owner Certification
- ITIL Foundations v3, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Thorough understanding of IT Infrastructure Hardware and Software
- Experience/Knowledge of Enterprise Storage and Backup technologies

Education/ Certification:
- Agile Scrum Master or Project Owner Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Pay Range: $60 - $65

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
