We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Senior Business Analyst to lead our Opportunity Intelligence and Identification function. This role is critical in driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will excel at analysing market trends, customer behaviour, competitive insights, financial metrics, and operational performance to uncover actionable growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Intelligence & Market Insights
  • Develop and manage frameworks for opportunity intelligence, including early trend detection, whitespace analysis, and unmet customer needs.
  • Evaluate market dynamics, macro trends, and competitive moves to identify new business, product, or segment opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to translate insights into growth initiatives and strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct customer segmentation, profiling, and opportunity sizing to understand high-value markets.
  • Data-Driven Opportunity Identification
  • Lead comprehensive data analytics to uncover growth opportunities across pipelines, accounts, channels, and product portfolios.
  • Build predictive models and scoring mechanisms to identify high-probability opportunities and risk segments.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on opportunity losses and pipeline leakage to recommend corrective strategies.
  • Assess financial attractiveness of opportunities through ROI, pricing scenarios, and profitability modelling.
  • Strategic Advisory & Stakeholder Influence
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on opportunity prioritization and go-to-market strategies.
  • Present insights, dashboards, and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Product, Marketing, Pricing, and Finance.
  • Influence decision-making through scenario analysis, business cases, and strategic storytelling.
  • Process Excellence & Governance
  • Enhance Opportunity Management frameworks, tools, and methodologies across the organization.
  • Improve accuracy of opportunity forecasting and pipeline visibility through data governance and process optimization.
  • Partner with CRM/Analytics teams to enhance dashboards, scoring models, and intelligence automation.
  • Establish KPIs to measure opportunity quality, conversion, and strategic impact.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor s/master s degree in business, Data Analytics, Strategy, Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Strategy, Sales Operations, Market Intelligence, or similar analytical roles.
  • Proven track record in opportunity identification, market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic insights.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with hands-on experience in:
  • CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.)
  • BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
  • Advanced Excel, SQL, or analytics platforms
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of go-to-market strategy, sales motions, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience creating business cases, financial models, and opportunity frameworks.
