Join a dynamic team as a Product Owner, where you'll lead the charge in modernizing file transmission architecture and enabling transformation across key ecosystems. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively in Brooklyn, Ohio, driving product vision and backlog management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product backlog for the Transmission Utility, ensuring alignment with business goals and clear prioritization.
  • Develop high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria to guide successful sprint execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, and stakeholders in backlog refinement sessions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for the squad, ensuring clarity and adherence to Agile processes.
  • Identify and escalate risks or blockers promptly to maintain project momentum.
  • Support deployments and production readiness in alignment with Release Management.

Skills

  • 5–7 years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role with direct responsibility for writing requirements.
  • Proven ability to craft high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge business and technology needs effectively.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO, PMPO, or equivalent).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with system migration, fintech, banking, payments, or data-heavy applications.
  • Familiarity with Lockbox, Remote Capture, or payments transmission systems.
  • Experience collaborating with offshore teams.
