Job Summary

As part of the Operational Excellence organization, this role leads cross-functional, virtual teams that create and implement automated, intelligent, enterprise-wide automations to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency. The Delivery Lead position is responsible for leading the identification, scope and feasibility of opportunities for deploying and running Operational Excellence delivery activities including but not limited to automation, process improvement, artificial intelligence or other related tools. This role is responsible for the feasibility aspect of delivering intelligent automation solutions that improve operational effectiveness and efficiency for Bread Financial. The Delivery Lead is expected to be thoughtful, innovative, and technologically savvy with a keen interest in business transformation. This role is relied upon to educate operational teams on Operational Excellence solutions, emerging solutions in the market that are necessary to maintain optimal performance, and identify areas of improvement in wider business problem statements that can deliver more value to the organization.

The Delivery Lead identifies and leads cross-functional, virtual teams that review business problem statements, identify and craft solution options and then provide recommendations to the Operational Excellence organization for delivery. The Delivery Lead supports multiple centers of excellence and product/service models including process automation, process improvements, new tool adoption, Generative AI, intelligent language automation, and interaction analysis. This role is considered the leading expert in multiple automation and AI solutions. The Delivery Lead is knowledgeable of the toolsets used, including but not limited to Generative AI solutions like GPT, Speech Analytics and Intelligent Document Processing tools, Robotic Process Automation and Lean Process Improvement methodologies. The role makes recommendations when necessary for the identification and acquisition of new automation solutions by conducting research and educating team members about industry trends. This role is accountable for leading high performing planning, development, and support functions.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Planning - Establish and execute the framework for engaging enterprise partners to understand opportunities and level of effort in order to plan new Operational Excellence delivery work. Lead the vision for proposed research, manage backlogs and perform market research to ensure continuous improvement and deployment of market-leading, innovative solutions. Identify and recommend highly profitable solutions, challenging throughput performance of moving work through the planning process with a focus on duration, effort, and optimized prioritization.
  • Development - Lead processes to define requirements, success criteria, and solution sizing for improving business cases. Accountable for throughput performance of moving work through the feasibility process with a focus on duration, effort, and optimized configuration tactics within the tool suites.
  • Support - Review ongoing monitoring, reporting, and forecasting of solution performance. Create and update the ongoing business case for assigned functions. Interpret data, analyze results, research, and investigate as needed. Help team create business goals and needs.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
  • This position is hybrid with an onsite schedule of 3-4 days per month. In-office requirements are subject to change based on business needs. This position is currently available to candidates that reside within 60 miles of Columbus, OH.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology, business management, finance, accounting, marketing, analytics, or related field of study.
  • 6+ years of experience creating and implementing automated, intelligent, enterprise-wide automations to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency or similar capacity.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in technology, business management, finance, accounting, marketing, analytics, or related field of study.
  • 8+ years of experience creating and implementing automated, intelligent, enterprise-wide automations to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency or similar capacity.

Typical Starting Range:
$133,500.00 - $241,900.00

Full Salary Range for position:
California: $153,500.00 - $302,400.00

Colorado: $133,500.00 - $254,000.00

New York: $146,800.00 - $302,400.00

Washington: $140,100.00 - $278,200.00

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.

Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial's 401(k) plan.

All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time ("PSST") upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.

Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
