Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in Aruba wireless technologies to join our IT infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting wired and wireless network solutions with a focus on Aruba platforms. This role ensures high availability, security, and optimal performance of network systems across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Aruba wireless solutions (Aruba Central, AirWave, Mobility Controllers, APs, etc.).

  • Conduct wireless surveys (predictive and onsite) and optimize wireless coverage and performance.

  • Configure and maintain Aruba ClearPass for network access control and policy enforcement.

  • Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls (e.g., Aruba/HP, Cisco, Fortinet).

  • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing Tier 2/3 support as needed.

  • Maintain network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for network services and support.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies, best practices, and regulatory standards.

  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 12+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on wireless technologies.

  • Proven hands-on experience with Aruba wireless solutions (e.g., Aruba Central, AirWave, ClearPass, Mobility Controllers).

  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, etc.).

  • Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.

  • Solid understanding of security best practices and NAC solutions.

  • Aruba certifications (e.g., Aruba Certified Mobility Associate/Professional ACMA/ACMP).

  • Experience with Aruba CX switching and network automation (e.g., NetEdit, Ansible).

  • Familiarity with cloud-managed networking and SD-Branch solutions.

  • Knowledge of other wireless platforms (Cisco Meraki, Ruckus, etc.) is a plus.

  • IT certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
