Software Resources has an immediate, contract job opportunity for a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager with a major corporation in Orlando, FL. 3 days per week on-site. 2 days remote.
Key skills required include project management, team leadership, communication, and familiarity with Smartsheet and Microsoft Office Suite. PMP certification is not mandatory.
Technical Project Manager Program Manager:
We are seeking a project manager to manage the operations and logistics for Disney Aata and Analytics (DDA) community of practice. This role will also be responsible for our project managing products that fall under the community of practice including an enterprise wide networking program and DAC virtual encore series. Additionally, this resource will manage communications for the community of practice as a whole and individual products in the form of emails, website management, stakeholder communication and participant facing resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules for DA community of practice initiatives. Monitor project milestones, flag risks or delays and support mitigation planning. Track and report on key performance indicators and metrics related to product effectiveness and project success. Schedule and coordinate meetings for the DD a community of practice core team, working groups and product owners. Prepare agendas, capture meeting notes, and ensure timely follow-ups with action items. Draft and distribute updates and presentations for the DA community of practice in its products. Coordinate with partners to gather inputs, share updates, and maintain alignment on deliverables. Manage logistics and communication for an enterprise wide networking program. Managed logistics and communication for DAC virtual on course. Help manage stakeholder communications and ensure timely responses to enquiries and multiple shared mailboxes. Support the development, management, and execution of internal communication plans for the DA community of practice and its products provide logistical and planning support for community of practice related work streams held at DAC. Document standard operating procedures and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Identify opportunity for increased efficiency and consistency across projects. Support onboarding and training of new members. Provide guidance and support for other team members on DD a community of practice workstreams.
Minimum four years of demonstrated project management experience or leadership on a project. Bachelor's degree in project management, management science, information science, business administration, communication or a related field equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience. Strong understanding of project management methodology and tools. Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with a diverse set of clients and partners of varying job levels period prior experience working in a matrix organization where the ability to influence others is critical to individual and team success. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated keen attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office, outlook, excel, word, PowerPoint and collaboration site.
Has management certifications. Experience working with highly analytical teams. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment and management multiple priorities. Experience providing internal client services. Experience with Adobe creative suite or other graphics programs. Extensive knowledge of the smartsheet platform. Familiarity of Disney business domain knowledge.
Bachelors degree plus five years relevant experience.
