IMPORTANT NOTES:

Candidate must be available to perform all work during the Central Standard Time (CST) business hours 9:00 am 3 pm (or CST hours as defined by the hiring manager)
Candidate will be required to provide their own equipment for this position (See job description for required specifications.)
Interview process: Over zoom for the 1st round interview.
Onsite or remote: Candidates must be WI residents or willing to relocate to WI within 30 days of the start date at their own expense. (90% remote and 10% onsite). Primarily remote, but candidate must be available to come onsite if needed.
Duration: until 6/30/26 with extensions possible.

Project details: The individual will work closely with Information Technology professionals to ensure technical components are available for projects and working properly. They will work closely with the supervisor and project teams to successfully monitor the progress of initiatives, provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions, and define clear goals for all aspects of a project and manage their
proper execution. They will have the ability to direct a small team in completing tasks, improving on operational support or maintenance, and document processes as needed.
This position will be a technical lead for our backend infrastructure services. These services or
systems include areas within the Microsoft Services arena including but not limited to Active
Directory (AD) services including ADFS, Group Policy, Distributed File Services, Azure
subscriptions, DHCP, and networking protocols and services. This person will be responsible for
third (3rd) level technical support functions for the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI),
monitoring tools, multi-factor authentication, storage and backup, Power Shell scripting, and
numerous customized off the shelf applications that have been implemented at DCF. A high-level
understanding of networking protocols and network connectivity will be required.

The candidate must demonstrate both technical depth and the ability to lead modernization
initiatives, ensuring the agency's infrastructure evolves strategically by partnering with external
agency DOA and other third-party vendors, while wearing multiple hats across team management,
project management, and hands on technical execution.
