Description
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager who thrives in a hands-on leadership role. In this position, you will guide and mentor a team of skilled developers while actively contributing to the design, development, and delivery of software solutions. With expertise in Java/Spring Boot and React/TypeScript, you will play a key role in driving innovative product development and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Participate in hands-on coding and development using Java/Spring Boot and React/TypeScript frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Oversee the successful deployment of scalable and robust software solutions.
Implement Agile methodologies to prioritize tasks and streamline workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during development and production phases.
Advocate for the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance software quality and efficiency.
Ensure strong documentation practices to support knowledge sharing and alignment.
Optimize development processes with automation, testing strategies, and code reviews.
Make architectural decisions that align with scalability, security, and organizational goals.
Requirements
Proven expertise in Java/Spring Boot and React/TypeScript with hands-on development experience.
Minimum of 5 years managing and mentoring software development teams.
Solid understanding of front-end and back-end technologies, frameworks, and tools.
Demonstrated success in delivering customer-focused software solutions using Agile methodologies.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain focus on project goals.
Experience with cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
