What You'll Do
- Inventory & Audits: Perform spare part cycle counts and physical audits of data-bearing devices (DBDs).
- Logistics Support: Manage shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
- Hardware Handling: Receive, reconcile, and update assets in inventory systems.
- Server Support: Conduct basic server repairs and troubleshoot failed components.
- Fiber Maintenance: Clean fiber links and ensure optimal connectivity.
- Rack & MOR Buildouts: Assist with middle-of-rack cabling and hardware installations.
- Security & Compliance: Shred data-bearing devices and handle secure media disposal.
- Power & Firmware: Perform power cycles, install software/firmware updates, and scope/test power and cable connections.
- RMA Coordination: Process returns and collaborate with the logistics team.
- Quality Control: Test, troubleshoot, and ensure all installations meet standards.
