Senior Software Developers for Randstad Digital, LLC. Multiple openings. Headquarters: Woburn, MA. Develop, design, code, test, document, and support programs, data warehouse, scripts, applications. Confer with business, QA, Production Support to meet requirements and implementation. Review business functions, implement OID for automated selection of active servers, develop queries and algorithms from upstream users, optimize enterprise data flows, and review acquisition, storage and processing of datasets from relationships through middleware components. Enable data access for downstream analysis, generate artifacts, store data in intermediate layers, create contingency plans aligning with enterprise standards and regulations, ensure sourcing practices, employ partitioning and data normalization strategies, implement query refactoring and restructuring, use subqueries and joins, conduct performance tuning. Analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate validation plans. Use Hadoop, Hive, PySpark, Hbase, Sqoop, Impala, Python, Java, Exadata, Jira, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, Toad, Putty, Spark. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, and 2 years experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have at least one (1) year of experience performing testing; developing data warehouses, scripts, queries, algorithms; reviewing requirements, and storage and processing of datasets; implementing OID for automated selection of active servers; optimizing enterprise data flows; enabling data access for downstream analysis; using Hadoop, Hive, PySpark, Hbase, Sqoop, Impala, Python, Jira, SQL, Oracle, Spark.
