Job Details

We need much seasoned candidates with Hospital experience, managing IT operations and complex digital transformation initiatives including cloud.

Need someone with experience managing over 100 team size, and experience with large projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Management: Overseeing the entire IT infrastructure of the site, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers, ensuring its smooth operation and alignment with organizational needs and industry standards.
  • Strategic IT Planning: Developing and implementing IT strategies and roadmaps for the site, aligning them with the overall organizational IT goals and the evolving needs of the healthcare industry.
  • Information Security: Implementing and enforcing robust security measures to protect sensitive patient data, electronic health records (EHRs), and other critical information from cyber threats and breaches, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluating, selecting, and managing IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Budget Management: Developing and managing the IT budget for the site, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Technology Implementation: Overseeing the implementation and integration of new technologies and systems, including EHRs, telehealth platforms, and other healthcare IT solutions.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare IT regulations, standards, and best practices, including HIPAA, HITECH, and other federal and state requirements.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal disruption to IT services in case of emergencies or unforeseen events.
  • Innovation and Optimization: Continuously exploring and evaluating new technologies and approaches to improve IT efficiency, enhance patient care, and support the overall goals of the healthcare organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required. A Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field can be a significant advantage.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in IT management, preferably within a healthcare setting, with a proven track record of successful leadership and project management.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and healthcare IT systems (EHRs, telehealth, etc.).
  • Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare operations, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive IT initiatives.
