Software Engineer III

What's the Role?

The Illustrations Integration & Persistence team is looking for a talented and driven software engineer. We support a variety of services developed in C# and TypeScript in support of the Illustrations application, a critical insurance sales tool. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement high-quality, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs using TypeScript and Node.
• Maintain and implement new features in existing RESTful APIs following industry best practices using C# and .NET framework.
• Proficiency with various DB technologies, including familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the APIs.
• Provide strong technical presence to team.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring code quality standards are met.
• Establishes, aggregates, and shares team standards and best practices within department.
• Utilizes working relationships across teams within their division.
• Provide technical support and assistance to clients and end-users as needed. Assesses and provides solutions to system-wide architectural problems. Manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 4-5 years professional experience required.
• 3-5+ years of experience working with modern engineering tools, languages and practices.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, ownership mindset and continuous learning. Experience developing solutions using agile methods.
• Advanced skillset in one or more technical platforms.
• Capable of communicating between product, engineering, and the business. Manages own time to meet objectives.
• Ability to perform peer reviews on code and design.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and architecture.

Compensation Range:

Pay Range - Start:

$92,750.00

Pay Range - End:

$172,250.00

Geographic Specific Pay Structure:

205 - Structure 110: 102,060.00 USD - 189,540.00 USD

205 - Structure 115: 106,680.00 USD - 198,120.00 USD
