Job Title: AEM Technical Architect

Location: Remote, Canada

Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AEM Technical Architect with deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service, with a strong focus on Digital Asset Management (DAM). The ideal candidate will lead support operations, optimize asset workflows, and collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure seamless asset lifecycle management. This role requires hands-on experience in AEM DAM, metadata modeling, workflow configuration, and integration with third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage AEM DAM support operations, including incident management, service requests, and minor enhancements
  • Oversee AEM Assets optimization, including storage, metadata, version control, user permissions, and workflow configurations
  • Provide L2 and L3 support for tagging configurations, metadata models, and asset-related issues
  • Collaborate with business users to clarify asset-related queries and provide guidance
  • Integrate AEM with Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions and third-party systems for seamless asset management
  • Maintain detailed documentation of DAM configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Support bulk asset imports from external systems such as Amazon S3 buckets
  • Guide and mentor support engineers to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Generate and present weekly/monthly reports on asset volumes, user access, and system performance
  • Collaborate with integration teams and stakeholders to resolve cross-platform issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Adobe AEM certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Experience

  • 8 10 years of experience with AEM 6.5 and AEM Cloud
  • Proven expertise in AEM DAM, including asset lifecycle management, metadata modeling, and workflow automation
  • Experience in L2/L3 support, incident resolution, and enhancement delivery
  • Familiarity with integration tools, Adobe Marketing Cloud, and third-party systems
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
