Overview:
We are seeking a Medicaid Policy Director who will support our client. This leadership role involves guiding clients through new Medicaid program implementations, compliance with federal requirements, and ongoing program management. The Director will also support internal team development and contribute to business development efforts.
Duties:

Help clients implement new Medicaid programs and ensure compliance by analyzing and interpreting federal guidance.

Prepare grant applications and funding proposals.

Provide Medicaid policy expertise to support internal team development and client success.

Participate in marketing and business development through content development, budget review, and strategic input.
Mandatory Qualifications:

15+ years of experience in Medicaid, with progressive leadership responsibility.

Direct experience in a state Medicaid agency or CMS culminating in a leadership role equivalent to Deputy Medicaid Director.

15+ years of professional experience, including 10+ years in Medicaid and at least 4 years in a state Medicaid agency or CMS with progressive leadership.

Proven ability to analyze and implement federal regulations and sub-regulatory guidance.

Experience with Medicaid payment authorities, including waivers and state plans.

Experience managing stakeholder interests across members, providers, plans, and federal partners.

Must be located on West Coast / Pacific Time Zone and be open to quarterly travel to Guam.
