Job Description:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced IAM Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving our DevOps initiatives, with strong focus driving requirements that ensure security, compliance and streamlined user access. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technical protocols for interoperability.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering
Eliciting IAM needs from stakeholders to ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and business objectives.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and end-users.
Collaboratively participate in designing solutions
Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement IAM solutions that meet business needs and security standards.
Identify opportunities for optimization
Ensuring Compliance
Conducting gap analyses to ensure IAM practices meet regulatory standards (like ISO 27001) and industry best practices.
Ensure IAM processes and solutions comply with internal policies and security standards.
Optimizing Processes
Analyzing and improving identity management procedures, user experience, and the implementation of access control models (RBAC, ABAC).
Supporting Integration
Understanding how IAM solutions integrate with various systems and APIs using standards like SAML, OAUTH, and SCIM.
Provide support for IAM tools and resolve access-related issues for IAM internal teams.
Documentation
Create and maintain essential documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, and visual aids.
Essential Skills and Qualifications Mentorship:
Must be able to work with DevOps engineers, Developers, Support and QA to provide guidance, mentorship, and support.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team.
Collaboration
Work closely with stake DevOps, developers, QA, Support and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
Participate in architectural discussions and design reviews to promote best practices.
Communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Problem-Solving
Proficiency in identifying and resolving complex security and access management issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
Understand various interoperability protocols
SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language)
OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC):
SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management):
REST and SOAP APIs
Understand basic IAM processes
RBAC
Provisioning
Deprovisioning
Active Directory
SDLC
Audit
DevOps Practices:
Solid understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.
Experience with various designing tools
Communication and Collaboration:
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Problem Solving:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Education Commensurate Experience:
Bachelor or master's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
Specialized skills and certifications (like CISSP or CISM) are highly desirable.
