Maintenance Mechanic - All Shifts
Seeking a motivated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. Responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical automation systems.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
- All Shifts available: 1st shift 6am to 2:30pm, 2nd shift 2pm to 10:30pm, 3rd shift 10 to 6:30am
- Schedule with opportunities for overtime.
- Starting hourly pay of $26, based on knowledge and demonstrated skill.
- Yearly reviews and raises.
- Comprehensive Nestl benefits after 30 days of employment.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:
- Operates, troubleshoots, and maintains mechanical and electrical automation equipment including motor control circuits, drives, and PLC systems.
- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance, rebuilds, and calibrations according to work orders in CMMS.
- Monitors equipment performance during production start-up, changeovers, and new installs.
- Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.
- Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts required.
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent preferred.
- 1-year degree in industrial maintenance, electrical, or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, AC/Servo drives, motors, and controls preferred.
SKILLS:
- 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience; food manufacturing experience is helpful.
- Ability to use electric test equipment and take measurements accurately.
- Ability to read, interpret, and revise documents such as equipment manuals, policies, instructions, and schematics.
- Experience with computers including CMMS, Microsoft, and PDF applications.
- Ability to speak, write, and understand English. Ability to speak Spanish is helpful.
