Job Details

Position: Business Analyst -- Asset Based Lending

Location: 3 days onsite per week at Charlotte, NC (CIC) preferred, Irving TX (5000 Riverside Dr), Minneapolis, MN can also be considered

Duration: 6-24 months contract to hire- depending on business need and performance

This role provides strategic consultation on large-scale data initiatives, focusing on collateral management, data modeling, and compliance-driven solutions. You will analyze complex, multi-dimensional financial data, ensuring regulatory alignment and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult on enterprise-wide Data Management initiatives, optimizing collateral borrowing base calculations and reporting workflows.
  • Conduct ongoing collateral monitoring, audits, and covenant tracking, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Lead collateral system configuration, data modeling, and process enhancements to support scalability.
  • Analyze multi-faceted data challenges, integrating policies and procedures for effective resolution.
  • Strategically collaborate with stakeholders to improve data integrity, governance, and compliance across financial functions.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management.
  • Equivalent experience demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.

Skills & Expertise

  • End-to-end Project Management, including:
    • Developing and managing project schedules.
    • Defining scope and writing statements of work.
    • Facilitating JAD (Joint Application Development) and Solution Design sessions.
    • Leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Agile methodologies, including:
    • Developing Epics and User Stories in Atlas Jira.
    • Conducting meeting facilitation to align stakeholders on deliverables.
  • Collateral Operations, including:
    • Borrowing base calculations, audits, and covenant tracking.
    • Collateral system configuration and data modeling.
  • ABL Experience (Adjacent Exposure):
    • Experience with documentation, UCCs, appraisals, and regulatory filings related to collateral management.
