Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 10 years of experience in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements, creating data mapping documents, and working closely with ETL developers and data modelers. This role demands strong SQL expertise, a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs).
- Develop detailed Data Mapping Documents to support ETL development and data integration.
- Write and review complex SQL queries across multiple tables for data analysis, validation, and profiling.
- Work closely with data modelers to design and validate data warehouse schemas and structures.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues.
- Adapt quickly to changing requirements and integrate them into ongoing work.
- Lead and influence the adoption of best practices, standards, and strategies within the team.
- Manage and prioritize a diverse portfolio of cross-functional projects.
- Stay informed on industry trends and provide insights and case studies relevant to the business.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5 10 years of experience in business systems analysis, preferably in a data warehousing environment.
- Proven experience in creating BRDs, FRDs, and Data Mapping Documents.
- SQL (Must have very good knowledge) Advanced skills in writing and optimizing complex queries.
- DWH ETL (Must have good knowledge) Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehouse architecture.
- ETL Reporting (Good to have) Experience with reporting tools and generating insights from ETL data.
- Prior experience in data warehousing is required.
- Healthcare industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be local and available to work onsite as required.

- Leadership experience in setting standards and best practices.
- Ability to influence high-impact decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Theoretical and practical understanding of data architecture and ETL processes.
