Job Title: CATIA CAA Developer
Location: Raymond, Ohio (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled CATIA & PLM Automation Engineer with expertise in developing, maintaining, and integrating engineering automation solutions within CATIA V5, Enovia, and Teamcenter. The ideal candidate will focus on 2D/3D transformation, feature recognition, solver integration, technical document migration, and automation of product structures, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in CAD/PLM environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a web application for 2D image comparison, enabling visual analysis of multiple drawings to identify similarities and differences.
  • Enhance and automate 2D to 3D conversion in CATIA CAA, specifically for sheet metal designs.
  • Design and develop a Feature Recognition Library on CATIA V5 using CAA.
  • Migrate technical document publishing from Arbortext (PTC) to TechPubStudio (Teamcenter).
  • Integrate Abaqus solver with CATIA, enhancing simulation capabilities.
  • Automate product structure creation and updates in Enovia and CATIA.
  • Develop and port automation tools for CATIA Electrical workbench, utilizing CAA, VB, and CATScripts.
  • Define specifications and design frameworks for automation projects.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in CATIA V5, CAA, Enovia, Teamcenter, and Abaqus solver integration.
  • Strong experience in 2D/3D transformation, feature recognition, and engineering tool automation.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as VB, CATScripts, and PLM-related integrations.
  • Knowledge of technical documentation migration processes within PLM environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and analytical skills.
