Job Details
Job Title: Healthcare Project Manager
Location: New Jersey, New York, California
Need 12+ Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Master s degree or certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma) is mandatory
- Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in project management, preferably in healthcare settings (hospitals, insurance, health technology companies, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience managing healthcare projects such as EHR/EMR implementations, healthcare IT system upgrades, process improvements, or regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with healthcare management software and systems (e.g., EHR, EMR, HIPAA-compliant platforms).
- Knowledge of healthcare standards and regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, CMS, FDA regulations for medical devices).
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing healthcare environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle healthcare-sensitive issues.
