Job Details

We seek an experienced Salesforce Administrator for our direct client, as they implement Salesforce solutions as the hub of their CRM and client marketing activity. In this role, you will help administer and customize the Salesforce solution to support the Sales, Marketing, and Support organizations. This is a Hybrid position, working primarily 2-3 days/week in the Norwalk, CT office and the remainder from home. (Note: Location is not ideal for commuting via train, but easy via car). We are looking for someone who is passionate about Salesforce, innovating, seeking business process improvements and strong user adoption. You will be the resident domain expert of Salesforce responsible for supporting users and for assisting with technical customizations and integrations with other platforms. You will work closely with an external Salesforce implementation partner and also many internal team members. Below are the responsibilities of this role:

  • Responsible for day-to-day administration of the Salesforce platform
  • Will be responsible for permission sets and user setup.
  • Design, document, build, test and deploy alerts, reports, complex dashboards and workflow within Salesforce
  • Assist with Production support issues
  • Bulk operations / Data Loader
  • Data hygiene
  • Dev Ops Support (configuration)
  • Manage integration of Salesforce with other systems and company solutions

 

  • Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality enhancements

 

  • Recommend best practices around new and existing Salesforce features
  • Customization and development to fit business needs
  • Manage workflow and suggest improvements to business processes to address strategic initiatives
  • Develop training plans, materials, and documentation as necessary to support Salesforce users.
  • Provide hands on training as needed.


Minimum Qualifications (must haves)

  • Bachelor s degree and 4-6 years of Salesforce administration experience required
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with Salesforce integrated with other systems
  • Experience with Salesforce Cases is a must
  • JIRA experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of business process development and improvement initiatives
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, hardworking, and a great team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational/time management skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively
  • Strong technical aptitude for data management (data analysis, data visualization, data structure)


Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)

  • Salesforce Administrator certificate
  • Exposure to Apex and Visualforce (development skill set)
  • Call Center Support is a big plus
  • Experience with Automations/Flows is a big plus
