Job Description

The EHR Facilitator is guided by the Instructional Designer of their respective Epic application who works in collaboration with the Training Manager. The EHR Facilitator provides training support for eMerge electronic medical record implementation by educating and training super users and end users. They maintain a clear knowledge of their respective application and the workflows associated with that application, demonstrate excellent presentation skills, and have an excellent ability to answer end users questions related to their application. Additionally they support system go lives and optimization activities.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Complete the Epic Credentialed Training program
  • Participate in testing Epic functionality
  • Maintain current training materials of assigned application
  • Provide instructor led training courses to a diverse audience
  • Follow training curriculum as developed by the Instructional Designer
  • Document classroom attendance and completion within the Learning Management System
  • Deliver classroom exercises and proficiency exams as developed by the Instructional Designer
  • Provide go-live support
  • Maintain the ability to work variable shifts
  • Work with project/support team to identify and resolve workflow or application issues
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings
  • Provide feedback on users' knowledge and skills to the training or optimization team and department leaders
  • Assist in testing Epic applications and validate workflows

Required Experience/Skills

  • Must have: Credentials in CPOE
  • Superior verbal/written English communication skills, including excellent grammatical, editing and proofreading skills
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Access, Office Suite, PowerPoint, Outlook) and web browsers
  • Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment
  • Manage multiple priorities
  • Critical thinking and strong problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to work with confidential information
  • Ability to build rapport easily
  • Open and adaptable to change

Nice-to-Haves

  • Preferred: Credential in Ambulatory
  • Prior experience with instructor led classroom training and/or Epic
  • Healthcare and/or Epic experience preferred

Education

Associate's degree or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program (will consider equivalent combination of formal education and experience, i.e. HS/GED plus 2 years related Healthcare experience).

For candidates with an Associates or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program, healthcare and/or Epic experience preferred. For candidates with high school diploma/GED, work requires at least 2 years healthcare related experience. Epic experience preferred.

Pay & Benefits Summary

  • $51.25 - $54.83/hr W2
