Job Summary

As the Corporate Accounting Manager of WM Synergy, you will oversee all aspects of financial operations, reporting, and compliance. You will play a key role in driving financial strategy, ensuring operational efficiency, and aligning financial goals with the company s business objectives. This role also involves leveraging the company s ERP system to optimize financial processes and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger.

• Manage treasury relationships and cash flow along with cashflow forecasting.

• Prepare, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial reports to the executive team and stakeholders.

• Maintain and lead the month end process coordinating the finance team to meet deadlines.

• Perform analysis and review of the corporate accounting transactions to ensure accurate financial records.

• Provide support for special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.

• Support the external audit and tax advisors.

• Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to mitigate financial risks.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Set performance goals, provide feedback, and manage career development for team members.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

• Experience in the ERP or software industry is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or proprietary systems).

• Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting tools.

• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial compliance standards.
