Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead data center and critical infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for managing daily construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver complex projects on time and within specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construction Oversight: Supervise civil, structural, and MEP works including UPS, switchgear, generators, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, HVAC, and fire protection systems. Review method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure design intent and Tier rating compliance.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce HSE standards, conduct toolbox talks and site audits, manage permit-to-work systems, and ensure OSHA/local safety compliance. Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Coordination & Communication: Act as the client’s onsite representative, chair daily/weekly coordination meetings, manage site logistics, and resolve RFIs/technical queries with design teams and commissioning agents.
- Progress & Reporting: Maintain daily logs, manpower tracking, and progress reports. Validate contractor claims, track punch-list closure, and escalate risks proactively.
- Commissioning & Handover: Support system commissioning, integrated testing, and reliability runs.
- Coordinate OEM vendor activities, ensure as-built documentation and O&M manuals are complete, and manage snag clearance for client handover.
