Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of Data Governance & Data Quality analysis experience.
  • Experience using OpenMetadata / Collate AI Platform.
  • Experience integrating applications or systems with OpenMetadata management platform.
  • Ability to collaborate with data owners, stewards, architects, and technology teams.
  • Experience with systems like Airflow, Snowflake, and others.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Use hands-on experience with data to help manage and leverage the client's data effectively by ensuring proper metadata is created, maintained, and utilized across various systems.
  • Will work data teams and stakeholders to establish metadata standards, improve data discovery, data lineage, data quality, and enhance data governance practices using OpenMetadata solutions.
  • Develop and implement metadata management strategies, including defining metadata standards, naming conventions, and business definitions in line with organizational policies.
  • Create, maintain, train and support teams on metadata tools and best practices including enhancement of metadata across multiple platforms and systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Facilitate data discovery by improving metadata quality and consistency and support data governance initiatives through metadata management.
  • Assist in defining and managing data lineage, identifying relationships between data elements across systems, and supporting impact analysis.
  • Provide training and support to teams on metadata tools and best practices.
  • Manage metadata repositories or databases, data models, while promoting a data-centric culture within the organization.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of metadata through validation and consistency checks.
  • Collaborate with data owners, stewards, architects, and technology teams to ensure alignment on metadata management practices and drive data stewardship.
