Seeking Cloud engineers with extensive experience in implementing and integrating third-party tools within cloud environments to enhance functionality, improve operations, and meet specific business requirements.
Key responsibilities
Evaluating and selecting tools: Assessing various third-party tools (e.g., for security, monitoring, automation, database management, etc.) based on an organization's needs, compatibility with existing infrastructure, and vendor reliability.
Planning and strategizing: Designing and outlining how the selected third-party tool will be integrated into the existing cloud infrastructure.
Implementing the tool: Deploying, configuring, and connecting the third-party tool to the relevant cloud services and applications.
Ensuring security and compliance: Implementing security best practices, access controls, data encryption, and adhering to compliance standards and regulations, especially when dealing with sensitive data or critical systems.
Optimizing and managing: Monitoring the tool's performance, resource utilization, and costs, ensuring optimal operation, and addressing any issues or anomalies.
Automating workflows: Leveraging the third-party tool's capabilities to automate various cloud tasks and processes for increased efficiency and reduced manual effort.
Maintaining and updating: Keeping the tool updated, applying security patches, addressing vulnerabilities, and ensuring long-term viability and support.
Training and supporting users: Providing training and support to users and staff on how to use and manage the implemented tool.
Required Qualifications:
8+years of experience in a Cloud Engineering role
Preferred Qualifications:
Google Cloud Associate or Professional Certification
Experience with Python, Terraform, Github
