RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a client in search of an Associate Director for Network Security to join their team in Manhattan, NY. This position is full time, direct hire and hybrid 3-days a week onsite. To qualify for this position, you must have experience with Palo Alto, F5 and leadership.

Summary:
As the Associate Director for Network Security, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of network security infrastructure. Your primary goal will be to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's network resources, data, and systems. You will lead a team of network security professionals, collaborate with IT teams, and interface with stakeholders across various departments to identify security risks, develop strategies, and implement solutions to protect from cyber threats.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive network security strategy aligned with overall security objectives and risk tolerance; Identify potential vulnerabilities and create plans to mitigate them
* Manage and mentor a team of network security specialists; Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's effectiveness in handling security incidents, monitoring network traffic, and implementing security controls
* Design and implement robust network security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and secure access controls; Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
* Establish and maintain incident response procedures to promptly detect, assess, and respond to security incidents; Lead investigations, coordinate with relevant teams, and implement remediation measures when necessary
* Conduct regular risk assessments of the network infrastructure and identify potential security weaknesses; Collaborate with other security and IT teams to prioritize and address the identified risks

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
* 5 years of leadership experience
* Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto and F5 Inc

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
